Festicket Awards 2015: Glasto Fends off Coachella to Claim Rock & Pop Crown

Glastonbury Festival has beaten off close challengers Coachella to claim Best Rock & Pop Festival in the Festicket Awards 2015.

Both the Best Festival and Best Festival artists results proved a strong showing for the UK's finest, with Isle of Wight Festival and Reading Festival joining Glastonbury in the top 10, while victorious Florence and the Machine ended up alongside no fewer than 5 other artists in the final count.

Mumford & Sons, Muse, alt-J, Years & Years and Sam Smith made up the British performers' contingent, with rock superstars Foo Fighters and Metallica also in the mix.
