Grace Jones has been confirmed to headline EXIT Festival 2018, bringing her tour to the Serbian festival on 14 July.
The inspirational, enigmatic woman has become a global icon and part of the so-called "Alien Club" of artists who left their unique mark on Earth before they left, such as David Bowie, Prince and Michael Jackson.
She was the first to introduce avant-garde art and high fashion in the world of music, way before Madonna, Lady Gaga or Rihanna. Vogue itself proclaimed her as the "ultimate fashion muse", while Rolling Stone called her a "compelling artist and a symbol."
She will join David Guetta, Migos, Fever Ray, Nina Kraviz and more at Serbia's Petrovaradin Fortress this summer.
Now known across Europe, EXIT has become famed for its wild, unforgettable parties inside its stunning setting overlooking the Danube. It's now wonder it has recently been crowned Best Major Festival at the European Festival Awards.
And aside from the music, festival-goers are also encouraged to explore Novi Sad: one of the European Capitals of Culture for 2021.
Brimming with excellent museums, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars, the city, famed for its mix of soviet architecture and heritage with a modernised Hungarian/Austrian look, is the perfect getaway for cultural and historical buffs.
EXIT Festival will take place on 12-15 July 2018. Find out more on our guide, and book your tickets, accommodation and extras to 2018's festival here.
