Hurricane & Southside 2017: Linkin Park and Blink-182 Join the Lineup

Twin festivals Hurricane and Southside have announced the second wave of artists set to play the German festivals in June 2017, including top-billed acts Linkin Park, Blink-182 and Casper.

The latest news follows the previous announcement that Green Day would be headlining the festival, ensuring that the top of the 2017 lineups is an absolute feast of pop-punk and rap-rock.

Elsewhere, folk-punk fans are well catered for with the addition of both Flogging Molly and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls to the lineup, while the electronic music contingent includes German natives Fritz Kalkbrenner, Boys Noize, Digitalism and Gestört aber GeiL

In 2016 the festivals were unfortunately blighted by adverse weather, which meant a number of artists were unable to perform. As such the festival is endeavouring to re-book as many of the 'cancelled' artists as possible for the 2017 festival.
