Returning from a few years out of the spotlight in 2017, Liam Gallagher stepped out from the shadow of brother Noel and previous band Oasis reclaiming his crown as the quintessential rock 'n' roll star with his debut album As You Were. He hasn't taken his foot off the pedal since.
Continuing his winning streak whilst hinting at new music in the new year, Liam has announced his first festival date of 2019 at Slovakia's Pohoda Festival in July, alongside previously announced headliners The 1975 and Lykke Li.
The Roots and Michael Kiwanuka have also been added to a lineup featuring a worldly mix of pioneers and burgeoning talents such as Dream Wife and Viagra Boys.
Let's hope LG answers the cries for a follow-up to his hugely successful debut over the coming year.
