Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have been announced as a headliner for brand new London festival All Points East, which will inhabit Victoria Park for a string of shows next spring.
Following the 3-day festival from 25-27 May which includes performances from The xx, LCD Soundsystem, Björk and more, the following weekend will see standalone 'APE Presents' shows headlined by The National, and now the iconic Australian performer.
Also announced to play on Sunday 3 June are fellow Australian Courtney Barnett, who recently released a collaborative album with Kurt Vile, punk legend Patti Smith and her band and the woman behind one of the best received albums of 2017, St. Vincent.
The announcement comes on the same day that both Lovebox and Citadel festivals, formerly held in Victoria Park, will be moving home for 2018 to Brockwelll Park, to accommodate the arrival of the new East London giant.
