Barcelona festival favourite Primavera Sound have revealed the 'Primavera Bits' lineup for their 2019 edition, showcasing a wealth of electronic and club-focused music talent. Now in its fourth year, the project has become a favourite of festival-goers – and this year sees four stages, each with their own unique feel.
The main stage rebrands as Lotus Stage, moving on to the beach and featuring performances from underground favourites like Avalon Emerson, Maribou State, Marie Davidson, Richie Hawtin and Objekt, as well as rising rappers Lizzo, Tierra Whack, Princess Nokia and Sticky M.A., and boundary pushing performers like SOPHIE and Yaeji.
Moving into the former home of the main stage is the Desperados Cube, with a greater focus on house, techno, disco, funk and similar – with sets from the likes of Denis Sulta, Helena Hauff, Jayda G, Joy Orbison and Dr. Rubinstein, as well as an all-day showcase from Hivern Discs.
At El Xiringuito Aperol – also on the beach – showcases are the order of the weekend, courtesy of Disco Paradiso, Femnøise, and Too Slow To Disco. And finally, the football pitch turned dancefloor El Punto by Adidas Originals sees Spanish trap star Yung Beef curate a lineup of rap and reggaeton infused sounds.
