Rock In Rio have announced more names for their 2019 edition, taking place in the festival's spiritual home of Rio de Janeiro next year.
Having already confirmed that Friday 4 October would be 'Metal Day', with performances from veteran rockers Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Megadeth and Sepultura, it seems that the following day is now destined to be 'Pop Day'.
Global megastar P!nk adds a South American leg to her ongoing Beautiful Trauma tour, which has already seen her play shows across North America and Oceania, with Europe scheduled for next summer.
Joining her are the recently reignited Black Eyed Peas, following the release of their seventh album Masters of the Sun (coming eight years after their last record).
And Brazilian pop giant Anitta is the last of the latest additions; a performer who has been heavily involved in the recent Latin pop explosion, with a multi-million strong social media following and a growing number of hits across South America and beyond.
