While there is still a long way to go before the lineup for Rock In Rio Lisboa 2018 is anything near complete, the festival have added a few more names to fill the gaps below the previously announced headliners.
First of all, joining The Killers on the second Friday of the festival – 29th June – will be one of the UK's biggest electronic exports, The Chemical Brothers.
The duo are one a select few electronic music acts that have managed to translate their music into a captivating live show that works on any festival stage, regardless of genre. Which goes some to explaining why they so regularly find themselves at the very top of festival posters (they are headlining Bilbao BBK Live, Boardmasters, Bluedot, Atlas Weekend and Pohoda this year alone).
Also confirmed to appear in the Portuguese capital this summer for the iconic festival, joining opening day headliners Muse, are British indie-pop outfit Bastille, who have a third album due out at some point this year, everybody's favourite family band Haim, and former winner Portugal's version of Pop Idol, Diogo Piçarra.
