Heading into its 12th year, Movement features a stacked lineup of the genres biggest names spread across six stages over three days.
Taking place in Hart Plaza, an urban park in the city centre, the festival is an outdoor affair with scenic views of the Detroit River and Canada on other side.
Hart Plaza is a stunning city park that comprises open greenery to a backdrop of the Detroit skyline. Home to the iconic Dodge Fountain, it lies on the banks of the Detroit River and just across the water from Canada.
The nearest airport is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). From here you can take the MetroAirport Terminal Shuttle Bus before changing to a 125 Bus to Larnes @ Woodward (1 hour 22 minutes). Hart Plaza is just a 2 minute walk from here.

Yes. Children who are 12 and under are able to enter free, though they must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian.
The Will Call and Sales Box Office will be located in the outdoor plaza in front of the Cobo Convention Center, directly west of Hart Plaza at Jefferson and Washington Boulevard.

Yes. If it is a three-day weekend pass or VIP pass, you will be allowed to enter and exit the festival at any time between noon and 12 a.m. May 28 – 30. If you purchase a one-day pass, you will be allowed to enter and exit the festival at any time between noon and 12 a.m. on that day only. Please note, you will be required to properly scan your wristband out of the festival each time you exit.
