Pitchfork Music Festival Paris have announced the first wave of artists for its 2019 edition. Topping the bill are Skepta, Belle & Sebastian, Chromatics, Charli XCX, Mura Masa and Hamza. They join a mixed bag of acts from the world of jazz and soul (Yussef Dayes, Ezra Collective, Jamila Woods, Celeste), folk/Americana (Jessica Pratt, Orville Peck, Weyes Blood), plus a large presence from the UK alternative rap scene (Flohio, slowthai, Kojey Radical). See the full poster below.
Returning to its home in the palatial La Grande Halle de la Villette in the capital's 19th arrondissement, the festival will take place over the halloween weekend from 31 Oct - 2 Nov.
Though the day splits have yet to be announced, in an earlier Instagram post the festival stated that the Friday and Saturday will be pop-rock and electro focussed, implying acts such as Skepta and Hamza could open the festival on the Thursday.
Weekend tickets for Pitchfork Music Festival Paris plus accommodation packages are available now.
