Eclectic rock and alternative
Amplifest is a rock and multi-genre music festival and conference. It's a unique weekend of intimate performances from bands and artists known all over the world, coupled with a commitment to discussion and workshops that help to drive the scene forwards.
The heavier end of rock tends to be the focus, though the likes of Ben Frost and Swans have brought a more atmospheric swirl to the festival in previous years. Amplifest's incredible setting in Porto is an added bonus.
Alongside the music, Amplitalk events provide a chance for artists and fans to take a look at where the industry is, and to encourage some of the great things that are happening both in Europe and beyond.

Hard Club is located right in the centre of Porto, a stone's throw from the river Douro and steeped in the history of the city. Hard Club is one of several venues in Porto that have been crafted out of traditional market places and rejuvenated storehouses.

Perguntas Frequentes
Porto is the closest airport, and here is how you can get to the city centre and venues from there:
BY METRO: after landing you will need to take Metro Line E, after which you will need to change into Line D at Trindade Station. From here you will need to get off two stop later at São Bento Station, after which Hard Club the main hub is 5 minutes walk downhill.
BY BUS: The cheapest option and if you visit the main information desk at the airport, they can give you a timetable with details and choices there.
BY TAXI: Once again ask for tourist numbers at the information desk, and expect to pay around 20 - 40 euros
