    Celebrating the city's vibrant scene

Gijón Sound is an alternative music festival held in Gijón, Northern Spain. Each year, the festival seeks to shine a light on the creative and cultural scene of the city, by showcasing a lineup that brings together international acts with national and, most importantly, local talent.

A diverse mix of musicians are invited to perform, both in established venues as well as in more unconventional places like churches, streets, squares and parks, bringing the whole city to life.

Having successfully brought together a number of different city-wide institutions over the last five years, the organisers are now aiming to help transform Gijón into a cultural hub on a national, and even global, scale.
