A hardstyle dream
Hardstyle pioneers Q-dance, Dirty Workz, Hardcore Italia, Unite records and Pulsar come together for an epic summer blowout on Croatia's number one party beach.
As anyone familiar with hardstyle will know, the above names are considered royalty, so to get them all together on hot sands under the sun and stars, you're talking a hardstyle fan's fantasy.
Spend your days relaxing on the beach, taking a dip in its pristine waters, or raving till you drop to your favourite DJs in what looks set to be one hell of a welcoming party for Hard Island.

Widely regarded as the party hotspot of Croatia, Zrće beach is just a few minutes south east of Novalja, and is also one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

Split airport is the largest in the south of Croatia, just a few hours further down the coast. There are lost of taxis local buses around – the area is so popular in summer that public transport has become very good.
FROM SPLIT AIRPORT: The best way is probably to get a taxi to Trogir, which would be about €25-30 for a 4-8 passenger car, and then two buses to Novalja. Buses from Trogir leave frequently and take 2 hours 40 minutes to get to Zadar, costing between €12 and €19. From there, buses leave around 5 times per day and take 1 hour 30 minutes to get to Novalja, at a cost of around €6.
Alternatively, you could fly into Zadar airport.
FROM ZADAR AIRPORT: Buses leave every hour, and it is a 20 minute journey to the Zadar bus terminal. The fare is €3. Again, buses to Novalja leave 5 times a day and take 1 hour 30 minutes, costing about €6.

The minimum required age to attend Hard Island Festival is 18+ with an exception for everyone younger than 18, who will celebrate their 18th birthday in 2015. Visitors may be asked to provide identification proving their age. Please bring valid proof of identification with you so that you do not risk being refused entry. Valid proof of identification includes a driving licence, valid passport or identity card.
The official Hard Island pre-party will start on Friday July 3rd, 20:00 (8pm CEST+2). Don’t be late!
Unlike the north, it is very unlikely to be anything else than devilish hot! Don't forget to bring sunscreen and LOTS of it!
You can pay in cash (Croatian Kuna - HRK) and credit/debit cards. You can bring EUR and exchange to HRK in local exchange offices, banks, hotels etc. The best exchange rate will be if you change your money to the local currency upfront in an exchange office.
There is one ATM at the festival area. You can also find many ATMs near your accommodation!
If you are situated in Gajac or Novalja, you can easily reach the festival on foot. But either way, there will be regular local bus transfers available, and the possibility of a taxi ride, but it's definitely not the cheapest option.
Yes, the festival is in Kalypso Beach Club which offers tidy and clean toilets separate for boys and girls.
The festival area offers a big parking place but the beach is crowded in high season so there might not be enough parking to accommodate all visitors. Buses from surrounding towns (Novalja, Gajac, Stara Novalja) will take you to the festival area. The pick up/drop off point is on the beach, right next to the festival area.
All accomodation areas have free parking, but the parking space is limited! Because of that, please send a heads up if you are coming by car to firstname.lastname@example.org.
