Kolorz Festival is an electronic music festival in Carpentras, France. Now regarded as one of the region's finest, the festival regularly showcases a lineup of exciting house and techno talent from across the continent, as well as providing a platform for local DJs and performers to take to the stage.
Held in the courtyard of the majestic Hotel Dieu, the festival juxtaposes the modern sounds of electronic music's vibrant underground against the historic architecture of its impressive setting.
The 2018 lineup has not been announced yet. Last year it included Charlotte de Witte, Agoria, Jacques, Alan Fitzpatrick and more.
The festival takes place in a historic hospital in the southern French town of Carpentras (around 100km north of Marseille).
BY PLANE: The nearest major airport is in Marseille. From there, you can either take a bus directly to Carpentras or take a train to Avignon, followed by another to Carpentras. There is also an airport in Avignon, which can be flown to from London, Birmingham and Southampton.
BY TRAIN: You can reach nearby Avignon by rail from across France as well as from Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, England and Spain. From Avignon Centre, a train to Carpentras will take 30 mins and cost around €6.
