Much more than a music festival

With fields of colourful sheep, operas on its lakes and DJs hidden in its woods, Latitude is much more than your average festival.

In fact, this kaleidoscopic wonderland of music, art, poetry, comedy, literature, film and unscheduled surprises is a thoughtful, award-winning cultural extravaganza.

Set in the idyllic English countryside, organisers mix the mainstream with the obscure and the experimental with the eccentric in an enriching feast that includes local beer and handpicked food stalls.

Festival-goers can also get their teeth into crafts, huge children’s areas and enough nonsense to keep them sane for another 12 months.

Henham Park is a country estate near the town of Southwold, Suffolk in the east of England. Norwich International is the nearest airport with coaches, public buses and trains serving the festival site too.

Children from 0-4 years do not need a ticket, but those aged 5 to 12 years need child tickets in order to attend. Teenagers who are between 13 and 15  have the option to buy an accompanied teen ticket and teenagers 16 and over must have a standard ticket.

All under 16's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 18 years old and this adult must remain on site throughout the weekend. Those wishing to stay in the 'Family Campsite' must be accompanied by children 16 years or younger.

There will be at least 20 cash points on-site – some in the Arena and some in the Village. There will be a £2.50 surcharge attached to each transaction. The Arena cash points are open when the arena is open and The Village cash points are open 24 hours.

The campsite will open from 2pm on Thursday 17th July and close at 5pm on Monday 21nd July. The Arena opens from 5pm on Thursday and 10am Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

No-one will be allowed into the campsite without proof that they also have a full weekend arena ticket for the festival. This will be policed across the festival weekend.

Car parking is included in weekend and day tickets. However, it is generally quicker to walk from the bus stop to the campsite instead of walking from the car parks - so go by public transport if you can! The Festival Transfer Bus will collect festival-goers from Diss and Halesworth train stations.
