Locus Festival 2019

The beautiful Valle d'Itria has increasingly become home to arts and music events, and the appropriately named Locus Festival is at the centre of them. A month long series of concerts taking place in the historic town of Locorotondo, Locus leans towards progressive jazz, blues and other forms of world music, and has an especially sharp sense of curation. 

Beginning on the local level in 2005, the festival quickly found international renown, not least for its ability to find acts on the brink of exploding and matching them with timeless icons such as David Byrn, DJ Premier and Gil Scott-Heron. Mixed with the historic setting and the south of the country's famous food and wine, Locus provides the setting for an unforgettable trip.
