The clocks have jumped forward, and Spring is officially here, so what better way to kick it all off than with some new music...
The Prodigy - The Day Is My Enemy (Album)
Direct and aggressive, The Prodigy's latest album - released today - is an unhinged hour of frenzied breakbeats, clattering into distorted guitar riffs and Flint's growling vocals - there's plenty for Prodigy fans to get excited about. Luke Nightingale
Death Cab for Cutie – Kintsugi (Album)
Kintsugi (the Japanese artform) takes broken ceramics and pieces them back together, using solid gold to add new detail and create something more beautiful than before. 'Kintsugi' (the new Death Cab album) takes the glorious elements of a broken band, forging the rocky journey of the last few years into something great.
And it really is great. It's back to the raw-guitar indie of 'Transatlanticism' and 'Plans', but the ride is a little smoother this time around. More mature, and all the better for the persistence that went into it. Joel Robertson
Jamie xx & Four Tet - Radio 1 Essential Mix
DJ pals Jamie xx and Four Tet rendezvoused in the Radio 1 Live Lounge this weekend to construct an Essential Mix in true B2B fashion. The mix, which is the perfect tonic for easing yourself into the week, features new tracks from both artists, as well as some fresh offerings from Throwing Snow, Tyondai Braxton, Koreless and Roots Manuva.
