Rock in Rio Lisboa have announced the full main stage lineup for Saturday 27 July, the second weekend of the festival, with synthpop legends Duran Duran topping the bill for their first ever appearance at the City of Rock.
Joining them are fellow new wave veterans a-ha, the Norwegian band appearing for the first time at the Portuguese edition, nearly two decades on from their iconic show in Rio de Janeiro which broke the world record for the largest paying crowd at arock concert when 198,000 fans filled the Maracanã Stadium to see them play.
Completing the Palco Mundo lineup for that day are Portuguese outfit and festival regulars Xutos & Pontapés, and British rockers Bush.
These newly announced acts join the likes of Foo Fighters, Black Eyed Peas, Post Malone, Camila Cabello, The National, Liam Gallagher and Anitta on the lineup for this year's destival, with more names still be revealed.
